The primary objectives of our exhibition are to:
- Highlight the ideas, vision, and the role of Dr YS Parmar in formation of Himachal
- Highlight the freedom movements that took place in Himachal Pradesh
- Highlight the contributions of freedom fighters of the state
Our exhibit will feature:
- Educational exhibits with information about life and contributions of Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar, including:
- Rare photographs of Dr Parmar. Obtained after meticulous searching, these photographs depict important life events in Dr Parmar’s life.
- Information about the personal and political life of Dr Parmar
- Information about Dr Parmar’s time in the Constituent Assembly of India
- Role of Dr Parmar in formation of Himachal Pradesh and his vision for the state
- Rare personal letters written by Dr Parmar. Written to many of his family members and officials, these letters offer a look into Dr Parmar’s ideas and vision for Himachal.
- Heroes of Himachal: Information about various freedom movements and freedom fighters in Himachal Pradesh, including:
