Rajender Attri retired as an Associate Professor of Political Science from RKMV, Shimla. A well known name in Himachal’s academic circles, he has numerous books to his name including Himachal Pradesh : A Himalayan Dreamland, Himachal Pradesh : Ek Bahuayaami Parichay, and Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar : A Political Biography. He has also served on the editorial board of many magazines .
He is currently also serving as the President of Him Gau Sanrakshan Samiti, an organisation dedicated to helping old, abandoned, and stray cattle of Himachal Pradesh.
